Greeting Farm Special TTIC Color Challenge!

Today The Greeting Farm and Twilight Tuesday have teamed up for a special color challenge!

The challenge: to create a card/project using this color theme: Red, Black, White or Silver
AND
You must use a Greeting Farm Stamp!

Well of course we all had to use this stamp:

Edward

Isn’t he the cutest! Make sure you head on over to The Greeting Farm to get him and check out the other awesome stamps they have!

So here is my card:

P7100143

Now I used red, black and silver for my card. The die cuts came from The Slice.

P7100143 - Copy

I made Edward sparkle by using the clear Spica glitter pen by Copic.

Now my kids loved this stamp as well! My daughter , Miss S, asked if she could play along. Of course I said yes!

P7100147

Miss S used my Slice for her die cuts. When I asked her what inks she used, well I almost fell out of my chair! She used the Childsafe black ink pad from Hobby Lobby to stamp her image. That black did not smear or run with the Bic markers she used to color it! Wow!

Twilight Tuesday #38 – The Honeymoon

This week I came up with the Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge – Edward and Bella’s Honeymoon.

paradise

I love the honeymoon scene! It was just perfect. Of course I have thing for tropical island honeymoons...

Now the craft challenge was to make something that you feel represents Bella and Edward’s honeymoon.

P7080126

I made a sparkly picture frame for Bella and Edward. I thought they could put a picture of the island in it. I actually used one from my honeymoon. This picture is one of the Hawaiian islands.

P7080129

Now the pearls are from a necklace I bought there. These were cheap pearls, I think I paid about $10 for them, but I thought they were pretty. I have never worn them so I thought this would be a neat way to use them.

P7080130

I made the flower by die cutting some wide white ribbon with my Big Shot. I used three of the pearls for the middle of the flower.

P7080127

Now about my honeymoon…

Hubby and I went on an Hawaiian cruise that stopped at every island for our honeymoon. (as you can see I am not a very good scrap booker but I wanted to show a few pages I have finished)

P7080132

We were able to spend about a day at each island, just touring and seeing the sights.

P7080133

We really didn’t hang out at the beaches very much. Hubby has fair skin that burns very easily and he has had skin cancer as well. So we just explored the beautiful countryside of one of the most lovely places on Earth.

Scripture Challenge - Creator

I finished another Scripture Challenge this week. The word I focused on was Creator.

4

I just amazes me what all God created. What makes me sad is when people blame God for creating evil people. God gives each and everyone of us free choice. We choose to sin, God didn’t create the sin in our life.

I choose to let God create something beautiful in my life.
