This week I came up with the Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge – Edward and Bella’s Honeymoon.
I love the honeymoon scene! It was just perfect. Of course I have thing for tropical island honeymoons...
Now the craft challenge was to make something that you feel represents Bella and Edward’s honeymoon.
I made a sparkly picture frame for Bella and Edward. I thought they could put a picture of the island in it. I actually used one from my honeymoon. This picture is one of the Hawaiian islands.
Now the pearls are from a necklace I bought there. These were cheap pearls, I think I paid about $10 for them, but I thought they were pretty. I have never worn them so I thought this would be a neat way to use them.
I made the flower by die cutting some wide white ribbon with my Big Shot. I used three of the pearls for the middle of the flower.
Now about my honeymoon…
Hubby and I went on an Hawaiian cruise that stopped at every island for our honeymoon. (as you can see I am not a very good scrap booker but I wanted to show a few pages I have finished)
We were able to spend about a day at each island, just touring and seeing the sights.
We really didn’t hang out at the beaches very much. Hubby has fair skin that burns very easily and he has had skin cancer as well. So we just explored the beautiful countryside of one of the most lovely places on Earth.
