Twilight Tuesday Color Challenge #3 - Bella and Edward’s Wedding Flowers

This week’s Twilight Tuesday challenge is such a fun one! It is a color challenge based on Bella and Edward’s Wedding Flowers.

Image

These are such beautiful colors and just a bit challenging to work with. I could not find the right color for orange blossom and then while putting up some scrap I had been working with I found it. One strip of paper that was just the right color and just enough for this card.

I really like how this card turned out. those colors really do work so well together. I could see Bella giving this to Alice as a thank you card for planning such a lovely wedding for her.

I also used Card Positioning Systems Sketch #153 for my card.

Now our Twilight Tuesday Design Team has fantastic projects to display for this week’s challenge – please go and check them out!

Double Hearts

Happy Monday Morning!

I am hoping and praying this will be a beautiful week! I am starting the week off with this card I made for three challenges.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

1. Stampin Sister’s in Christ Challenge #25 - Mark 10: 7-9. The challenge is based on this Scripture:
Mark 10: 7-9 "7. 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, 8. and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one. 9. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." (NASB)
The Challenge is:
Create a project that reflects the sentiment of this scripture by following this formula: Use whatever supplies/stamps you like to create whatever kind of card or project that you like BUT use must use TWO kinds of each item to make your ONE creation. An example would be as follows: 2 different colors of cardstock, 2 different pieces of patterned paper, 2 pieces of ribbon, 2 brads, 2 buttons, and so on. Have fun with this one!

2. Our Daily Bread Designs ODBDSLC1 Shining the Light Challenge- Hearts. The challenge is since Valentines is quickly approaching, the team is challenging you to use hearts. The hearts can be on your designer paper, in your image, on your embellishments (ribbons, pearls, gems, charms and etc.)

I hope you find time this week to play with these fun challenges!

Owl Always Love You!

I just love Faith with Designed2Delight Digital Stamps. She is just the sweetest and has such lovely digi stamps! This week she has released February "FREE Stamp of the Month Artist's Challenge".

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Now I will admit I am not a fan of owls. They scare me like bats and snakes do. It was fun to work with these two though.

I used ...Mercy's Tuesday Sketch # 59 Challenge (MTSC59) for my layout.

Thanks for stopping by!

My inspiration was the color of the desk, the Eiffel Tower hat box, the frame and the books. It was so much fun making this card!

Our Daily Bread Designs Challenge

On the Our Daily Bread Design blog they have this wonderful challenged issued. It is called Stamping In Time: On Assignment with Betty(SNTODBD02)! The challenge this week is to use the ODBD Sing to the Lord stamp set and to add dimension and texture to our cards this week!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The Sing to the Lord stamp set was one of the first ones I bought from them! It is a wonderful set that I just don’t use enough.

For the dimension I colored and cut out the dogwood flowers and used foam dots to pop them up. The texture I used the ribbon and the liquid pearls on the lace border. I didn’t want to over do things on this card. I really like this dp, it has such an old world leather look to it.

Thank you for stopping by!!
